I started out in advertising in San Francisco in 1995, working on technology accounts like Novell, Adobe, and Logitech. Along the way I created some of the first banner ads to ever appear on the Internet. (Thereby, earning myself a special place in hell.) After 15 years as a creative director in advertising, I was terminally bored. I started my own company Dressler in 2009. Dressler was a digital design and development shop that specialized in user experience design for Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, and cultural institutions. Since closing Dressler, I have been consulting with a range of clients on user experience and data strategy. I am also working on a book about user experience design. I live in New York City with my wife, two daughters, and a cat. The cat hates me. To view my resume, click here. To email me, click here.
